Executive Director
Mrs. Van Bang Pham is a retired English teacher from Montebello Unified and Los Angeles Unified School Districts. Former Consultant to the State Department of Education on Vietnamese Culture and language. Writer and Author of “Love Faith Hope, a journey of a Vietnamese Woman from Vietnam to the United States” published in 2011 in the US. Former Professor of English Literature at Van Hanh University, Vietnam, the U.S.A.I.D. Vietnam, and the Vietnamese American Association, Vietnam, before 1975.
She was a Commissioner on the Orange County Human Relations Commission. One year after retirement from the Commission, Mrs. Van Bang Pham was honored by the Commission for her dedication to eradicate discrimination in the society, to build bridges to bring together communities of different backgrounds, to bring equal justice and humanity in our relationship between government entities and the people they serve. Her heart is full of love for the people and the community, with kindness and humility to all and animosity to none. She respects the dignity of all individuals regardless of background

General Secretary
As a Certified Court Interpreter and Translator, Ms. Do also has community and government affairs experience in the private and public sectors. She is currently working for the City of Santa Ana as the first Vietnamese Community Liaison that the City has ever hired. She received a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. Ms. Do is a passionate community advocate who works to support equity, inclusion, diversity, and language access for the limited English proficiency community members.


Nguyen
Deputy Director, External Affairs
Graduated from UCI with a Math major. She founded A+ Educational Institute, a private learning center that has reached out and touched the lives of thousands of students and their families. She is a person of good will and voluntary spirit. She participates in many nonprofit organizations, especially the Sakya Community Services Center
Deputy Director, Internal Affairs/Treasurer
Ms. Vu has been a dedicated member of Sakya Community Services Center since its formation. With her connections and good relationship to most of the community organizations, Ms. Vu plays an important role in the center operation. She now serves as the Internal Affairs Deputy Director

Deputy General Secretary & Instructor of Taiji Bang Class
Ms. Kim was a very successful business woman in Vietnam, owning a hotel in the famous tourist town of Dalat, Vietnam before 1975. Several decades ago, she learned and became an expert in Taiji Bang. Sakya Community Services Center is fortunate to have her as the instructor of the Taiji Bang classes in addition to being the Deputy General Secretary of Sakya Community Services Center.
