Boi Tu Vu
Mrs. Vu joined the Sakya Community Services Center from its inception. She worked as a Pharmacist in Vietnam before resettling in the US in 1975.
After 1975, she resumed her career in California in 1990 working at several State hospitals in Los Angeles County then later on in San Bernardino County before retiring from public services. After retirement, she continues to work part time as a registered Pharmacist in the private sector
Professor Huy Bich Tran, PhD.
Former Librarian at UCLA and College Lecturer of History, Culture, Language at UCLA
Dr. Tran is the SCSC tenured and renowned Lecturer on Vietnamese History, Culture, Literature, and Poetry. His unparalleled knowledge and superior memory are critical to the preservation, transferring, and understanding of the essence of Vietnamese rich culture, history and literature. His frequent lectures at SCSC and other fora in California and elsewhere in the U.S. always draw huge attendance

Nho Trong Nguyen
The Honorable Nho Trong Nguyen, Judge of the Superior Court (Ret.)
Judge Nguyen retired from the Orange County Superior Court and came back to work again as a Superior Court judge in other Counties. In the last several years, Judge Nguyen worked regularly at the San Bernardino Superior Court, presiding over a busy trial calendar handling both civil and criminal cases

Mr. Derrick Nguyen is a highly successful private attorney, specializing in business and civil litigation. He also advises, contributes and appears on many ethnic media outlets. He was appointed by President George W. Bush to the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Attorney Derek Nguyen was a past President of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Southern California. He has received numerous awards and recognitions from many private institutions and non-profit entities as well as municipal governments and the US Congress
